9:00: Class I: Severus Snape's Swish and Flick Rhythm Play-Potter Puppet Pals (link to youtube video in lesson plan; be sure to cover basic rhythms on this day only! Introduce notes, rests, sense of metronomic pulse.)

10:15-10:45: Snack

10:45-12:00: Class II: Care (and Creation) of Magical Creatures: Sorting Hat Craft Party (click link for instructions); will be a multi-day activity

12:00-1:00: Lunch at the Leaky Cauldron

1:00-2:15: Class III: Wailing Witches Singing Class: Wizarding Songbook Greatest Hits Introduction (Click link); play sound clips as introductory class; MAIN assignment is to compose a tune for the Sorting Hat's Song! Be creative!

2:15-3:00: Snack: Perhaps a match or two of Quidditch? Also see HERE for the official rules. 

3:00-4:00: Class IV: Care (and Creation) of Magical Creatures part 2: WAND FACTORY for Ollivander's Oscillating Ostinato: This will be a multi-day activity involving a hot glue gun and everyone taking turns waiting for glue to dry/paint to cure. Please use your very best judgment when young Wizards have down time: assess the need for activities from here: Fun Harry Potter Online Games and Sites.

4:00-6:00: Choices, Practice, Free time, Transfiguration.
